Classes began Sunday, August 28 in the meeting rooms of the Parish Office. We welcome youth from Grade 1 – 8 with great expectation of a year full of faith and friendships.

If you have not joined us yet, please pick up a “Parent Packet” at the parish office or from the back of the church at your convenience. We would love to meet you! The calendar of classes and events is included with other information you will want.

Catechist Call

We are looking for catechists for the 2022-2023 Faith Formation Year. Our children, and their families are precious to us! Can you be an assistant to the program? New faces and experience is always welcomed!

Our focus is on family participation/resources, and the National Revival of the Eucharist. Our new Catechetical Directory is also a topic for review. “Circle of Grace” Safe Environment is covered at all levels, encouraging both youth and adults to rely on God’s presence within us, to discern healthy relationships.

Training

All catechists will need to have taken Safe Environment Training in the last five years. (This can be accomplished online.) We will hold training sessions for this purpose. Catechist enrichment classes are offered throughout the year, and you will find your own faith blossoming!

At a time when many are looking for the peace of prayer and new spiritual energy, the Church invites us to Mass, to invite Jesus deeply in our hearts. The Eucharist is the Source and Summit of our Catholic Faith, because Jesus is the Foundation – our lives are built on the foundation of His merciful love and True Presence in the Eucharist.

  • Join us at our weekend Masses – Vigil on Saturday at 4pm; Sunday Masses at 8:30 & 10:30am; weekdays at 8:30am (M, Tu, W, F).
  • First Fridays are the occasion of extended prayer from 9am until Noon in adoration of the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Come and pour your heart out to Our Lord, and soak in his peace and joy.

Stay tuned for diocesan events this season as we celebrate the national initiative of Eucharistic Revival!

Is your child looking to be an active member at the parish? Be on the lookout for altar server training that is happening soon. Fifth grade to senior year students are invited to train and join the team. This can be counted as service hours. Please see the sacristan after Mass for additional information.

On Masses on July 9th and 10th, Fr. Sojan dedicated a beautiful icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in our sanctuary.  Our parish was dedicated to Our Lady at the beginning of the pandemic, to great effect. In gratitude, this icon has been mounted over our candle rack in the sanctuary, where we can spend a few minutes of prayer anytime!
