Welcome to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church! From our humble beginnings in 1976, St. Elizabeth has “burst into life” (in the words of Msgr. George Cummings, our first pastor). Far from the hectic rush of large cities, free from traffic jams, this parish has enjoyed a quiet and peaceful way of life, now sought after by many who are moving to Florida.

It is our hope and prayer that the foundation laid by the love and dedication and hard work by so many continues to be the model for so many new parishioners now moving into Citrus Springs, and will continue to shine for all of those who follow after us.

1976 Msgr. George Cummings is named the first pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.

1991 Msgr. Cummings retired and Pastor Emeritus, Fr. George Malin was appointed pastor.

1995 Fr. Malin retired, and Fr. Harold Bumpus was appointed as our new pastor.

1998 Fr. Bumpus is transferred; Fr. Raymond Lettre was appointed pastor.

2002 Fr. Eric Peters appointed pastor.

2012 Fr. Eric Peters is transferred, and Fr. Charles Leke was appointed pastor.

2014 Fr. Sojan Punakkattu is appointed pastor, celebrating his 15th Anniversary of Ordination in May 2015.
