While the Eucharistic Prayer constitutes the heart of the celebration of Mass, the
consummation of the liturgy is found in Holy Communion. In the great sacrament of the altar, the
faithful are joined to Christ Jesus and to one another.
Serving as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is a beautiful way to share in the prayer and worship of our parish. Ministers assist the priest in offering the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful at Mass, helping our community come closer to the Lord in the Eucharist.
